Falconer Laine MacTague, of Camarillo, Calif., Manuka resides at a very different stage in her training with MacTague than does Telephone. Though the two still perform similar training exercises, Manuka has learned to respond to MacTague's auditory signal even without the reward of food. The two also now hunt together in the outdoors.
